Alain Chiolero has 25 years of experience across a number of roles with large generalist reinsurers, medium-sized CAT specialists and startups. His experience spans actuarial pricing, modeling, portfolio management and underwriting, both for credit & surety and nat cat.

Alain holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Fribourg and a master degree in computational sciences from the ETH in Zurich. He is fluent in French, English and German.
